Jamey Fitzpatrick has served as a catalyst for change and a champion of innovation in public education. As both an education and technology policy advocate, Fitzpatrick provides leadership for MVU®, a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. MVU operates the Michigan Virtual School® (MVS®), currently one of the largest virtual schools in the United States, Michigan LearnPort®, a web-based portal that provides low-cost and no-cost online professional development programs for Michigan’s K-12 community, and the Michigan Virtual Learning Research Institute™, a center for online learning research and innovation.
